Disability Service Standards


PVTE has in place a comprehensive Quality Assurance Programme which is subject to independent audit each year by BSI Management Sytems as part of its external accreditation process. The Disability Service Standards form part of this programme.

PVTE meets all of the contractual obligations required by government funding bodies, and is committed to providing best practice throughout all levels of the organisation to satisfy our customers' expectations every time. To achieve this we must continually improve the quality of our product and services. We aim to achieve this by:

  • Ensuring consumers have an opportunity to provide feedback and participate in PVTE's consumer advocacy process
  • Emphasising effective management practices at all levels
  • Providing appropriate training for all employees to facilitate the pursuit of new initiatives
  • Maintaining reliable quality management systems
  • Objectively measuring and monitoring customer service and work processes
  • Providing training, support and recognition to facilitate quality improvement
  • Involving all employees in planned system improvement
  • Utilising teamwork and the flexibility of staff in responding to client requirements
  • Facilitating timely and accurate information flows in relation to client requirements.
