PERSONAL SUPPORT PROGRAM
The Personal Support Programme is designed to help people who are receiving income support from the Government stay connected to the community.
The aim of the programme is designed to help jobseekers who are experiencing complex or difficult personal circumstances and assist them achieve their goals. For example, this programme can help people who have barriers to employment but who wish to commence a job assistance programme such as Job Placement.
The type of assistance available from this programme includes:

Practical support (eg, assistance to attend interviews) |

Outreach activities |

Assessment and help with goals and plans

If you think you are eligible for personal support, you need to contact your local Centrelink Office to be assessed and referred onto the programme. You can be assured that your confidentiality will be maintained at all times.
