Peel Valley Training and Employment (PVTE) was established in 1987 to provide job-related employment services to local communities. PVTE is a not-for-profit organisation and receives funding through the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations.

PVTE provides services to both employers and jobseekers and has offices at Tamworth and Gunnedah. A Mobile Service, based in Tamworth, provides services to outlying rural areas such as Quirindi, Manilla, Barraba, Werris Creek and Murrurundi.

PVTE staff members are experienced, caring professionals who receive excellent outcomes for their clients. PVTE ensures that the confidentiality of its clients is maintained at all times.

The Board of Management oversees the executive functions of the organisation and comprises of professionals within the local community who also provide specialised input to the overall function of PVTE.
